Change Coaching to Support Change Leaders

The Transformation Network’s Change Leaders are managers and supervisors from the various units taking part in the UT Works Program. As they are responsible for managing teams and operations, they need tools to help their teams navigate the transition to using UT Works.

In preparation for supporting their teams during this transition, Change Leaders will attend Change Coaching sessions to help them constructively manage and minimize the impact of the transition to UT Works on their units’ operations.

In place of a set agenda, coaching sessions are driven by their participants, who can bring real-world issues they've experienced in their organizations or based on feedback from others in their organizations. During these sessions, facilitators and other participants can then work together to find ways of responding to these situations that will help Change Leaders navigate the transition to UT Works, leading their teams down the path to success.

Topics and scenarios in coaching sessions can vary widely, from how to help team members who express frustration at the transition process to others who might withdraw due to feeling too intimidated or anxious to ask for help. Through this process, Change Leaders will learn the tools they need to engage with, offer assistance, and find positive resolutions for either situation.

Change Coaching sessions will take place this fall, during September and October, with Change Leaders being contacted directly with information on attending.
