Since its launch early in the UT Works implementation process, members of the Transformation Network have received special updates on program progress, with many also participating in change management training and system testing.
As we enter the homestretch of UT Works implementation, the Transformation Network will refocus on activities that will help their coworkers and team members transition to using UT Works. To achieve this focus, leadership within each business unit designated participants as either Change Champions or Change Leaders, with each role taking part in specific events and training. These activities will help build the skills each role needs to provide on-the-ground support within their units.
Change Champions will support the UT Works Program by
- Participating in Pilot Training (to be scheduled in August and September) .
- Using access to the Training instance of UT Works to practice and build skills.
- Receiving instructions on providing support and providing support during the Hypercare period.
- Continuing to provide support to teammates as needed after Hypercare.
Change Leaders will support the UT Works Program by
- Pushing UT Works communications to team members.
- Participating in Change Management Coaching.
- Supporting team members with navigating change.
- Escalating issues as necessary.
Expanding membership and creating two distinct roles for participants allows Change Champions and Change Leaders to focus on the areas where they can best help their teams transition successfully to using UT Works.
What’s Hypercare? Hypercare is the period after units begin using UT Works, during which program staff will provide additional support and training to facilitate a smooth transition to using the new system.
