What’s Happening During the UT Works Transition
At 4 p.m. on October 31, 2024, both FAMIS and WORQS will go offline. This marks the end of an era (Happy Retirement FAMIS and WORQS!) and the beginning of the transition to UT Works. Over the following days, teams from the UT Works Program and each unit transitioning to UT Works will work together to copy and validate data from FAMIS and WORQS into UT Works. This process will help ensure that the new system is up to date and ready to go when we begin using UT Works on November 5.
How to Get Help with Using UT Works
The program team and business units have worked together to ensure that everyone can get the help they need to enable them to use UT Works successfully after go-live on November 5, 2024. Recognizing that each unit will use UT Works a little differently, the best place to look for help, when necessary, will be within your team or unit.
Looking Ahead
Look for the following activities to continue through Go-Live and beyond.
- November 5 – UT Works Goes Live!
- November – Hypercare Support begins with Go-Live
- November – Change Management coaching sessions resume
- November – Ongoing UT Works Training
