UT Works Training Update
To prepare for the transition to UT Works, the UT Works Program and business units are preparing to train over 900 employees through over 100 training sessions from September through October and beyond. The training sessions will provide those who will use UT Works with the tools and skills needed to successfully transition to the new system while also providing the information they will need to feel supported during Hypercare after Go-live.
Transformation Network Refocuses for Success
As we enter the homestretch of UT Works implementation, the Transformation Network will refocus on activities that will help their coworkers and team members transition to using UT Works. To achieve this focus, leadership within each business unit designated participants as either Change Champions or Change Leaders, with each role taking part in specific events and training.
Change Coaching to Support Change Leaders
In preparation for supporting their teams during this transition, Change Leaders will attend Change Coaching sessions to help them constructively manage and minimize the impact of the transition to UT Works on their units’ operations.
Looking Ahead
Look for the following activities to continue or begin during Summer 2024.
- Ongoing – End-to-end testing for O&M, CPPM, and ReADY request forms
- August – Pilot Device Training for UT Works mobile users
- August-September – Pilot Training to evaluate UT Works training materials
- September-October – Change Management Coaching Sessions
- September-October – UT Works User Training Sessions
