UT Works Training Begins in September

Published:
August 23, 2024

UT Works training officially begins on Tuesday, September 3, and will continue through October, with over 900 employees receiving training before Go-Live. Each business unit involved in UT Works will handle registration for their employees, following their internal processes. The registration plan helps ensure that every employee gets registered for the course(s) they need while also ensuring that units will still be able to provide services to campus consistently during the training period.

Once registered for training through UTLearn, participants will receive an email and calendar invitation with the date, time, and location of their scheduled training session(s).

The UT Works Training Team developed 22 different courses, taking the work of employees in each unit into account to help provide the knowledge and skills necessary to use UT Works successfully to accomplish each unit’s goals and get work done. Training will also include information about any new business processes developed to take advantage of features in UT Works, as well as information about mobile devices for those employees who will use them in the field.

You can find course descriptions for each of the 22 courses listed below on the Training Courses page of the UT Works website.
