With O&M Design Sessions–Round 1 Complete, Round 2 Set to Start in February

Published:
February 1, 2023

Completed in December, the first round of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) design sessions produced the first recommendation documents for review and validation by representatives in the participating units. Design sessions provide a forum for exchanging ideas and best practices as participants work together to determine how the UT Works program will improve business processes by leveraging the functionality of the technical system.

The second round of the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) design sessions will begin February 7 and run through March 30. This series of design sessions will include representatives from Financial Business Services (FBS), Business Strategies and Operations (BSO), University Housing and Dining (UHD), Utilities and Energy Management (UEM), and Enterprise Business IT Solutions (eBITS). The sessions will provide a forum for representatives to gather and address specific topics through brainstorming, collaboration, and sharing of best practices as part of the O&M design process.

Residential Facilities and UHD join the UT Works Program
In January 2023, Residential Facilities and University Housing and Dining (UHD) joined the UT Works Program. After receiving system training and updates on program activities, team members from each unit will join other representatives of the Business Strategies and Operations (BSO) portfolio as contributors to the second round of O&M design sessions starting in February.
